The Matterhorn Gotthard Railway (MGBahn) excels in the Alpine Adventure Railway. This line is 144 km long, from Zermatt to Disentis, from Andermatt to Göschenen, and the 3,300-meter high mountain covers different sections, passing 33 tunnels and promenades, crossing 126 bridges and viaducts. The lowest point of the journey is Visp, 625 meters above sea level, the highest elevation is at the top of the Alpine Pass at 2033 meters.

The Matterhorn-St. Gotthard line runs normally 365 days a year and tickets are available at all Matterhorn-St. Gotthard railway stations.
