Vnitrostátní orgán pro cestování vlakem v zemi, SNCF je státní železniční síť a poskytovatel ve Francii a vůdce v zajišťování dopravních spojení v Evropě. V roce 2012 zahájila společnost OUIBUS provozování mezinárodní autobusové dopravy v Evropě za účelem propojení hlavních měst.
