Zürich, Sihlquai is a bus stop and a paid parking lot for buses and cars. Eurolines, Hellö, REGIOJET, CSAD Tisnov and Deutsche Bahn buses stop here. There is a tram stop (Sihlquai) and the Zurich main train station nearby. There is also a passenger waiting area, an entrance and an exit with obstacles, and the other side of the street has an "AVIA" gas station.

The airport is located 28.5 km (17.7 mi) northeast of Munich near the city of Freising and is named after former Bavarian minister-president Franz Josef Strauss who was born in Munich. It features two passenger terminals with an additional midfield terminal, two runways as well as extensive cargo and maintenance facilities and is fully equipped to handle wide-body aircraft including the Airbus A380.

During the Middle Ages, Zürich gained the independent and privileged status of imperial immediacy and, in 1519, became a primary centre of the Protestant Reformation in Europe under the leadership of Huldrych Zwingli.The official language of Zürich is German, but the main spoken language is the local variant of the Alemannic Swiss German dialect, Zürich German. Many museums and art galleries can be found in the city, including the Swiss National Museum, the Kunsthaus and newer Theater 11 in Oerlikon.
