Alvia is a second-class high-speed rail from Renfe with a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph). Trains can use Iberian gauges and standard European tracks, allowing them to travel on recently constructed high-speed lines. Alvia has many routes starting mainly from Madrid and Barcelona.
