Amsterdam Centraal

Amsterdam Centraal is the largest railway station in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. As a major international railway hub, it is used by 162,000 passengers per day.

The domestic and international rail services of Amsterdam Central Station are provided by the Netherlands' main railway operator NS. Amsterdam Central Station is the northern terminus of Amsterdam Underground 51, 53, 54 and is operated by the municipal public transport operator GVB. The station also offers several GVB tram and ferry routes, as well as local and regional bus routes operated by GVB, Connexxion and EBS.

The Zürich Hauptbahnhof (Zürich Hauptbahnhof), the largest railway station in Switzerland, has 26 stations (platforms) and is located in the heart of Zurich. The station is located at the northern end of the old town, in the heart of Zurich, close to the junction of the Limmat and Sihl rivers. The station is located on multiple levels, with the platform on the ground and underground and connected to the ShopVille shopping centre via an underground passage.

The Port of Amsterdam is the fifth largest in Europe. Famous Amsterdam residents include the diarist Anne Frank, artists Rembrandt and Van Gogh, and philosopher Baruch Spinoza. The Amsterdam Stock Exchange is the oldest stock exchange in the world. Zürich or Zurich ( ZEWR-ik; see below for other names) is the largest city in Switzerland and the capital of the canton of Zürich. It is located in north-central Switzerland at the northwestern tip of Lake Zürich.
