The Frankfurt (main) airport regional station is the underground train station at Frankfurt Airport in Frankfurt, Germany. It provides local S-Bahn and Regionalbahn services for the city and the Frankfurt/Rhine-Mediterranean metropolitan area. The station was opened on March 14, 1972, and there is a new passenger terminal (terminal Mitte, now known as Terminal 1).
